risotto

Ini resep dari temenku :)

Risotto ala Omel
Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cooking time: approximately 1 hour (it really depends on what kind of rice you use)

For approximately 4-5 people

Ingredients:
Virgin Olive Oil
500 g Arborio rice (if you want it to cook faster, try Uncle Ben’ rice)
1 brown onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
10 medium size button mushrooms, sliced
100 g chicken breast, diced
Parsley, finely chopped
1,5 liter chicken stock
Salt, pepper, and sugar to taste
8 table spoons of thick cream

The Steps:
Heat the virgin olive oil in the thick pan
Add garlic and onion until slightly brown
Add chicken, cook well
Add rice, mix until all grains are nicely covered with oil
Add the chicken stock little by little (It is important not to add all the chicken stock directly to the rice as you don’t know how much water it needs to be cooked)
Stir well, keep an eye on the rice, add more stock or water if it is still hard
Add salt, pepper, and sugar to taste
When the rice is already tender add parsley, mushrooms, and thick cream
Mix well until the mushrooms are cooked.
Ready to be served (I personally like to add parmesan and chili flakes to my risotto)
